Gary Taxali Limited Edition Print Release “Are We Serious”
We are pleased to announce the limited edition print release of “Are We Serious” this past week by artist Gary Taxali through 1xRUN in the US.
Gary Taxali collaborated with the Drake Hotel in Toronto to create three site-specific installations. To commemorate this special event, he has decided to release this print of one the artworks in the installations. You can also download the high res images here. “Are We Serious” was originally created from a piece of art with the same name from his solo show, “Hindi Love Song” in 2009 at The Jonathan LeVine Gallery in NYC. According to Gary, the artwork “posits the question (without the use of a question mark) ‘Are We Serious’, which can mean different things depending on how you feel. And by the way, no, I am not serious. At least right this minute, anyway.” As this is the first time we are working with 1xRUN, we have decided to also release a special mini gocco print for the first 50 people that buy the “Are We Serious” print available exclusively through 1xRUN. You can see many other Taxali mini gocco’s available for sale in the range of $100 at http://www.taxalionline.com/mini-gocco-prints.html?limit=30 so this is really a special price. You can also check out Gary’s blog for more info. More info about this release: Gary Taxali |
