Happy Victoria Day

Nothing says “Happy Victoria Day” like Sonic Youth covering The Kinks.  This is the extent of my Victoria Day celebrations for I’m working (have a deadline today and must work).  So if you’re in Canada, “Happy Victoria Day”, or “Fête de la Reine” if you’re in Quebec.  Many people here call it “May Two-Four”, referring to the close date it often falls on (May 24) and more importantly, slang for a case of 24 beers (a “two four”).  Enjoy the day, enjoy the firecrackers and I hope the weather is as nice for you as it is here in Toronto.
